Dr Thomas Monoth
- Dr Thomas Monoth, Assistant Professor and Head did his MSc and MPhil in Computer Science at Bharathiar University and MTech (IT) from Karnataka State Open University.
- Took PhD degree, on a teacher fellowship of UGC, from Kannur University on the topic Analysis and Design of Tamperproof and Contrast-Enhanced Secret Sharing Based on Visual Cryptography Schemes.
- Completed Summer Research Fellowship of Indian Science Academies from IIT Madras under the guidance of Prof. C Pandu Rangan.
- Research Guide and Doctoral Committee member, Kannur University
- Has completed three UGC funded research projects.
- Has also participated and presented a research paper in the International Conference on Cyber Worlds (CW 2010), at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in 2012.
- Has many research papers published in international journals to his credit apart from a number of research papers presented in international and national conferences.
- Presently he is the Chairman of the PG Board of Studies and a member of UG Board of Studies in Computer Science of Kannur University.
- Member of the Board of Studies (PG), MG University.
- His areas of research include information security – cryptography, visual cryptography and secret sharing. He is skilled programmer in C, C++, Java and MATLAB.
